I started crewing in 1987 at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  In 1992 I started learning to fly and received my Private Pilot Certificate in 1994 and flew as a primary pilot at Fiesta in 1998.  From 2003 to 2005 I traveled around the world, flying in New Jersey, Leon Mexico, St. Jean Sur Richelieu, Montreal and in Gatineau, Ottawa. 

 

I became a Commercial Pilot in 2004 and have been happily flying since then doing Bucket List flights, weddings, proposal, etc. I have been sponsored by companies such as Wirsbo {Uponor}, McCormick Distilling {Tequila Rose, Triple Crown, and Tarantula Tequila in addition to Peabody Coal {Twenty Mile Coal Company}.

 

In 2006 I came in 10th place at the AIBF competition out of 750 pilots and also scored on one of the poles.

 

I began getting involved in Balloon Rally organizing in 1998 with the SnowDown Balloon Committee in Durango, Colorado and continued with that as Balloonmeister. I am also the Balloonmeister for the San Juan River Balloon Rally in Bloomfield, NM, with the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce. 2019 will be our 12th year.
